By using Paraguide you agree to these terms. Paraguide is in preview and provided as is. Features may change, break, or be removed, and a review you save now may not carry over to the full launch.
Not a safety or weather tool
Paraguide is for reviewing flights after you land and for reading public forecasts before you fly. The briefing on the Plan page interprets published forecast models and weather-station data for a spot; it is a reading aid built on third-party data that can be wrong, late or missing. It is not a weather service, a go or no-go tool, or any kind of flight-safety or in-flight decision aid, and it never tells you whether to fly. Always get a current local briefing, check local rules and your own currency, and make your own judgement before you fly. Anything Paraguide shows is informational and estimated, never an instruction on whether or how to fly.
Your flights
You keep ownership of your flight data. By uploading, you confirm the tracks are yours to share, and you grant Paraguide a non-exclusive, royalty-free permission to store, process and analyse your flight and equipment data to provide and improve the service, build comparative insights, and develop free or paid features. This includes planned route-learning features that show individual flight paths to signed-in pilots without displaying your name, handle or profile, as described in our privacy policy.
A route may still be recognisable even without those details. This permission does not make your logbook publicly browsable or permit unrestricted sale of your raw tracklogs. Future external aggregate insight products are subject to the choices described in the privacy policy. Public route browsing would require a separate launch notice and any additional permission needed.
The route-learning features are not live yet. Existing accounts covered by earlier wording will be asked to accept this expanded use before their tracks become eligible. Data-use choices, withdrawal and deletion are explained in the privacy policy.
Gear contributions
You retain ownership of reviews and other content you contribute. When you publish a gear review or rating, you grant Paraguide non-exclusive, royalty-free permission to store, reproduce and publicly display it in our gear catalogue and search tools, with the reviewer attribution and experience information disclosed when publishing. Public pages may be indexed by search engines. Equipment data may also be processed into collective statistics and used to develop free or paid information services.
This does not publish your underlying private flight records or account details. Reviews collected under earlier, narrower sharing terms require an appropriate transition before public use. Your choices and deletion rights are described in the privacy policy.
Acceptable use
Do not upload data that is not yours, misuse the service, or try to break, scrape, or overload it.
No warranty, and liability
Paraguide is provided without warranty of any kind. To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for any loss arising from using it, and in particular for any decision made in the air.
Brand
The Paraguide name, design, and content are ours.
Governing law
Paraguide is operated by Developmint, Switzerland. These terms are governed by Swiss law.
